Ajinomoto Genexine continues to participate from last year... Plans to reveal various technologies

Ajinomoto Genexine, a company specializing in cell culture media, announced that it will participate in ‘BIO KOREA 2022’, which opens on Wednesday, May 11, and introduce its cell culture media brand ‘CELLiST’.

‘Bio Korea 2022’ will be held at COEX in Seoul from Wednesday, May 11 to Friday, May 13, hosted by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute and Chungcheongbuk-do. A large number of companies in the health industry, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical devices, are scheduled to participate in this event, which is organized under the theme of ‘Post-Corona and future innovative technologies.’

At this expo, Ajinomoto Genexine introduces the ‘CELLiST’ series, developed based on Ajinomoto’s medium manufacturing technology and know-how that has been researching chemical cell culture media for over 30 years.

CELLiST is a cell culture medium brand that simultaneously achieves excellent cell growth speed and protein production capacity, and is characterized by containing high-quality amino acids based on Ajinomoto's amino acid research capabilities and expertise. Good performance can be expected for most CHO cell lines, including CHO-K1, CHO-S, CHO-DG44 and CHO-DXB11.

We also propose a SWITCH PROGRAM that can improve productivity and antibody quality and reduce production costs by changing the existing cell culture medium to the CELLiST series (Media Switch). Using this program, you can change your cell culture medium in as little as 6 months to 1 year.

In addition, by utilizing the latest cell culture equipment and analysis equipment owned by the institute, we plan to provide technical services necessary for changing customers' cell culture media, as well as period reduction and optimization services using cutting-edge systems such as DoE and Digital Twin technology.
