Ajinomoto Genexine is a company jointly established in 2012 by Ajinomoto and bio venture Genexine to develop and manufacture animal cell culture media and provide consignment production services. Local production of cell culture medium has been achieved.

In addition, through the CELLiST series, Ajinomoto Genexine is introducing cell culture media containing high-quality amino acid technology.The serum-free chemical composition medium that Ajinomoto Genexine is developing to become self-sufficient as a medium for cutting-edge biopharmaceuticals does not contain animal-derived substances, ensuring high safety, and is easy to industrialize because the composition can be specified.

However, considering the fact that it is not easy to change from an existing cell culture medium to another, CELLiST has provided active support through the switch program to increase development and production efficiency.

CELLiST's switch program does not charge separate product development costs for changing cell culture medium, and supports experiments using various instruments such as ambr, HPLC, and UPLC owned by Ajinomoto Genexine. We also actively support document-related tasks such as equivalency approval and direct submission of composition to 

the licensing agency.
