Ajinomoto CELLiST Korea, a cell culture medium development and manufacturing company, extended a helping hand to the disabled and neighbors in need through volunteer activities at Namdong Welfare Center for the Disabled.

Ajinomoto CELLiST Korea conducted volunteer activities at the Namdong Welfare Center for the Disabled with its employees in September, the month of Chuseok. The volunteer activities on this day included assisting with kitchen cooking, serving meals, and cleaning up, with the goal of providing meals for users of the welfare center for the disabled.

Namdong Welfare Center for the Disabled is an organization that provides various programs and support activities for the rehabilitation, independence, and social integration of the disabled in the region, and is operated as a corporation by Incheon Catholic Social Welfare Association.

Ajinomoto CELLiST Korea has gathered its hearts to provide help to the disabled in the local community with a sense of responsibility for this volunteer activity, and has also been conducting various donation activities for the past two years, including the Single Parent Family Association, Bright Heart, a nursing facility for the severely disabled, and Yeonsu Community Welfare Center.

An official from Ajinomoto CELLiST Korea said, “We plan to continue our volunteer activities to extend a helping hand to the underprivileged in the local community,” and “We will continue to grow as a company that can fulfill its responsibilities in various areas of society.”

Meanwhile, since changing its name last year, Ajinomoto CELLiST Korea has participated in the COEX ‘BIO KOREA 2024’, KINTEX ‘KOREA PHARM & BIO 2024 (International Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology Exhibition)’, the ‘2024 Biologics Manufacturing Asia’ conference held in Singapore, and the ‘BCMA&CGTWA 2024’ conference, and introduced the latest technologies and services. In addition, the company recently opened a solution center called ‘CSC India’ in Ahmedabad, India, targeting the global market.
