Ajinomoto Genexine Korea CSC expands and moves to Songdo, Incheon

To commemorate the relocation of CSC, ‘CSC Open Lab week’ was held from December 5th to 16th.

Ajinomoto Genexine's Korea CELLiST Solution Center (hereinafter referred to as CSC) announced that it has expanded and 

relocated from Osong-eup, Cheongju-si to Songdo, Incheon.

CSC is Ajinomoto Genexine's research facility and is responsible for providing cell culture medium-related services to 

customers who wish to use CELLiST medium. Korea CSC, which is opening after expansion, will be located in the Incheon 

Free Economic Zone (IFEZ), where Korea's leading bio companies are concentrated, and will focus on research and development while providing customer support from a closer location.

Researchers within CSC expect to use robot-based powder manufacturing equipment, automated ultra-small bioreactors, and 

equipment to analyze them to conduct medium development research in a shorter time than before. The data obtained through the culture process is analyzed for medium characteristics and produced protein characteristics using various biochemical analysis equipment. Furthermore, this information can be analyzed in depth and reported using the latest multi-omics analysis techniques and specialized big data and AI analysis techniques.

Korea CSC Center Director said, “With the expansion and relocation to Songdo, we will be able to respond more quickly to 

customer problems and requests in the minimum amount of time,” adding, “We have developed high-performance cell culture 

medium to respond to customer demands and lead time requirements.” We will provide comprehensive support for process 

optimization. He expressed his ambition.

To commemorate this center relocation, CELLiST Team plans to run ‘CSC Open Lab week’ from December 5 to 16 for customers
